Dear Colleagues!
The ”ESSR meets Poland” course is co-organized by the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and the Sports Section of the Polish Radiological Society.
The course is addressed to radiologists and radiology residents with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging, from both public and private settings.
The course will focus on imaging of the shoulder and hip in MRI, CT, Radiography and Ultrasound and will cover a variety of practical topics.
High-quality lectures will be accompanied by interactive hands-on MRI workshops on shoulder and hip MRI and by the Ultrasound Masterclass course on Hip Ultrasound with the hands-on session.
We are happy to welcome an international faculty – distinguished ESSR members and outstanding radiologists: Prof. Carlo Martinoli, Prof. James Teh, Dr Diana Afonso, Prof. Ara Kassarijan, Prof. Lennart Jans and Polish renowned experts in the field of musculoskeletal imaging: Dr Beata Ciszkowska-Łysoń, Dr Maciej Bień, Dr Piotr Palczewski, Dr Wojciech Wawrzynek, Dr Wojciech Szewczyk, Dr Roman Brzóska, Dr Karolina Kukawska, Dr Szymon Grzybowski, Dr Łukasz Romanowski and Dr Michał Marek, who will offer high-quality teaching in the field of musculoskeletal radiology.
The aim of this very special course is to share knowledge and experience between our two societies through face-to-face meeting, high-quality lectures and interactive hands-on workshops.
The course is organized in Katowice, in the south of Poland, easily accessible by plane and ground transportation.
Katowice, the capital of Silesia, has been the place of heavy industry, coal and steel with the coal mine winding tower as its landmark for years. After its transformation and revitalisation of the former mine area, the city Culture Zone is currently a unique place in Europe and the new symbol of Katowice, with delightful buildings of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Polish Radio, the Silesian Museum, and the International Congress Centre.
On behalf of the ESSR and Sports Section of the PLTR we cordially invite you to Katowice, for a high-quality educational event as well as a friendly get-together.
