- The topic of people with intellectual disabilities and disabilities in general needs more government involvement. The group of people with intellectual disabilities has so far been on the fringes of the margins," Lukasz Krasoń, government plenipotentiary for people with disabilities, secretary of state at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, told a joint meeting of the parliamentary team for people with disabilities and the parliamentary group for autism. Participants in the meeting also paid a lot of attention to the challenges of revamping the disability adjudication system.
- One of the more urgent things that will be implemented is supported employment. We have been fighting for it for many years. It will finally become a reality. In the coming weeks, a fiche will be created and we will start implementing projects for which we have money from the European Union. We will implement the assumptions, unlike what happened in recent years," declared Lukas Krasoon.
