The Senate of the Republic of Poland has passed a resolution to establish 2025 as the Year of Health Education and Prevention. The initiative, proposed by a group of senators, is a response to the deteriorating health statistics of Polish society and the increasing incidence of diseases of civilization. According to the data, Poles are increasingly facing health problems that stem from unhealthy lifestyles and lack of preventive care.
I am honored to announce that just today the Senate of the Republic of Poland passed a resolution to establish 2025 as the Year of Health Education and Prevention. We pay attention to the ever-deteriorating statistics on the health condition of Polish society and the dynamically increasing percentage of incidence of civilization diseases. It's time to increase the health awareness of Polish women and men, promote preventive examinations, physical activity, healthy nutrition and mental hygiene," says the chairwoman of the Senate Health Committee Beata Małecka - Libera.
