Ursula Szybowicz: Returning to school is a difficult time for children

- Children are very much affected by returning to school. It's often a new environment for them, and they don't know if the classmates they sat in the bench with will still want to sit with them. We adults have a big challenge ahead of us to support our children against the tide of peer criticism, as well as grading resulting from the educational system. We should emphasize, remind children: no matter what grades you get, you are important, you are needed and everything is fine with you. It's important for a child to know that they can come to a parent and they won't be punished for saying that something bad is happening at school," said Urszula Szybowicz, president of the Foundation You Can't See After Me, in an interview with Medexpress during the Children and Youth Health Congress.
