Poland has received permission from the European Commission (EC) to launch a cross-border e-prescription exchange service with other member states. This new functionality will enable foreign patients to fulfill e-prescriptions in a Polish pharmacy, and Polish patients abroad, informs the Ministry of Health.
The approval of the European Commission is the first step for Poles to be able to fulfill their prescriptions in other EU countries (Finland), and for EU residents (Estonia, Croatia, Portugal and Finland) to use this solution in our country.
