More than 457,000 people missed appointments with specialists in endocrinology, cardiology, oncology and orthopedics in the first six months of 2023 alone. The National Health Service is calling for cancellations of appointments that patients know they will not attend.
According to data from the National Health Fund, in the first six months of this year 457 thousand people from all over Poland did not cancel their appointments with specialists.
