From 18 to 25 months after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the period during which a citizen of that country who has obtained qualifications as a doctor or dentist outside the territory of the European Union member states can be granted permission to practice in Poland and be granted a conditional PWZ will be extended.
The Senate adopted amendments to the Law on the Humanitarian-Medical Assistance Team and the Law on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with the Armed Conflict on the Territory of Ukraine.
The senators pointed out that the amendment was unconstitutional because it went beyond the substantive scope of the original bill. In the end, however, they did not submit their amendments to the bill.
