On June 6, 2022, a reporting and election forum for delegates from 91 scientific institutes met in Warsaw. Prof. dr hab. n. med. dr h.c. multi. Henryk Skarżyński, director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, was elected the new chairman of the 11th term of office of the Main Council of Research Institutes (RGIB).
First meeting of the Council, during which, inter alia, the Council was constituted and its Presidium was established, and it was held on June 27, 2022.
The presidium - apart from the new chairman - was composed of the vice-presidents:
• prof. Ryszard Hołownicki, Institute of Horticulture - National Research Institute,
• prof. Marian Szczerek, Łukasiewicz Research Network, Institute of Sustainable Technologies,
• prof. Marcin Ślęzak, Motor Transport Institute,
