According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR), the Wroclaw-based university outranked institutions such as Jagiellonian University and Warsaw University.
In this year's edition of the ranking, analyzing nearly 2,100 universities from all over the world (100 more than last year), the Medical University of Wroclaw was ranked between 501-600. This means that it joined the ranks of the top 2-3 percent of universities in the world. This confirms its unique position in the global academic environment.
